Bajaiyo is a music promotion marketplace built for the artists the algorithm forgot. We connect indie musicians with clubs, gyms, and cafés - places where music is already on, but it doesn't pay anyone yet. We're fixing that.
In 2024, an indie artist friend of ours paid ₹40,000 for a "playlist push" and got 800 streams in a week - most of them, almost certainly, fake.
That same week, the café down the road from her flat played the same six chart songs on loop for the eighth straight day. The owner told us he'd love to play something different but didn't know where to start.
Two problems. One obvious solution.Get the indie artist's music into the café. Pay the café a small monthly cheque for hosting it. Send the artist time-stamped proof of every play. Charge the artist a fraction of what a playlist push would cost.
That's Bajaiyo. The name comes from Hindi bajaiye- "please play". A little politeness underneath all the boldness. Loud, but warm.
No bots. No fake plays. No padded numbers. Every play is a real human in a real room hearing a real song. If we wouldn't show our parents the data, we don't ship it.
Indie artists are the audience we exist for. No mandatory annuals. No 'contact sales' walls.
AI picks the right promotergit. Humans verify every match. Every dispute is resolved by a person. Our AI does the heavy lifting - humans make sure it feels right.
Press, partnerships, complaints, song recommendations - all welcome.
